Evaluation Conditions and Criteria

• All institutions, charities registered for three years or more under the umbrella of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector, and operating in Saudi Arabia can apply for nomination to the award, regardless of the size of the organization, its financial resources, its areas of work or the type of activities it offer

The evaluation mechanism for nominated organizations for the Excellence Award depends on analyzing management performance based on the following criteria:

1. Strategy (vision, mission, goals, objectives)
2. Governance
   
3. Human Resources
4. Financial Management and Investment
5. Communication and Fund Raising
6. Information Technology
7. Performance Measurement and impact

• The evaluation advisory body decision will be final, and the Board of Trustees of the King Khalid Foundation has the right to withhold any award by the recommendations of the competent evaluation authority
• All nomination procedures and information provided by the candidates, in all award phases, shall be carried out in complete confidentiality and the names of the winners, or the results of the evaluation of the candidates will not be disclosed until they have been approved by the Award Board and the Board of Trustees of the King Khalid Foundation and then announced at the press conference
• The differentiation process between nominated organizations depends on the evaluation scores extended by the evaluation advisory body, the validity of the documents submitted and the extent to which these documents meet the criteria of the award
• The King Khalid Foundation is permitted to make a profit from the winning works with the organization's authorization in order to publicize the award and advance knowledge among others by publishing the stories of the winners and their experiences in writing or on visual media while retaining the winner's name rights
• All works and documents submitted for the award will not be returned to their owners even if they failed to win the award
• The King Khalid Foundation provides a non-disclosure agreement to organizations that have concerns about the confidentiality of their data submitted on the nomination form, and those who wish to sign such agreement may contact the award program at the email [email protected].
