About the Award

​​​​​​Sustainability is the ability of an organization to build a competitive advantage, apply the best sustainability practices in its commercial operations and contribute in achieving the Kingdom's social, economic and environmental development objectives. Based on the above definition, King Khalid Sustainability Award aims to honor and support the private sector organizations that adopt sustainability and social responsibility practices and initiatives and integrate them into the core of their business strategies as well as to enhance their competitive capabilities.

 

Targeted Segment

  • Private organizations (profit establishments or companies)
  • Semi-private organizations provided that their business's scope are located in Saudi Arabia, regardless of the activity or area in which they serve will be honored at the Award Gala held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
  •  

Award Features

For Participants:​
  • A comprehensive and integrated review of the performance of responsible environmental, social and administrative practices of the organizations by an independent advisory body, and the acquisition by the organizations of detailed performance scorecards to contribute to raising their future performance
  • Attend the Leading Practices Workshop, which provides an opportunity to exchange ideas with peers and to learn the best practices of sustainable development, thereby contributing to their economic growth, and consequently the Kingdom's growth
  • All participants will be invited to the awards distribution Gala held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

  • Second Place: Silver Trophy
  • Third Place: Bronze Trophy
