The National Petrochemical Industries Company established its factory in Yanbu Industrial City on the west coast of Saudi Arabia with a production capacity of 400,000 metric tons per year. Commercial production began in late 2010G, and the factory now produces various types of polypropylene products (homopolymers, random copolymer and heterophasic copolymer) using the best international technologies in its field. This material is used in the automotive industry, household appliances, building materials, carpets, packaging, some medical and agricultural supplies and dozens of other industries.
