Al-Bir Ahsa Society was founded in the year 1400H, and its services cover Al-Ahsa Region. The number of beneficiaries of the association has reached 35,000 male and female beneficiaries. The society's fields of work cover: Health care, persons with special needs, training and rehabilitation, youth, arts, emergency relief, women, orphans, widows, divorcees, the disabled, and honoring of the dead.

It is one of the most important methods that’s pursued by distinguished institutions to achieve excellence; it follows methodologies to spread knowledge and find ways to share experience and convey the lessons learned. The society adopts a set of performance standards, which focus on the aspects of its activities and varied programs, which are measured on a periodical basis. The society’s performance in the human resources management has notably improved in terms of the retention of its employees by providing a work environment that’s appropriate to them from material and psychological perspectives. The society uses the services of advisory bodies to support it in the evaluation process, which fact reflects the management's awareness of the importance of addressing the work from a scientific basis and methodology, and in order to sustain this process, the society reduced its cost so as to make it a routine part of the work of the society’s departments at all levels, The society adopts clear plans for its general budget, and it is one of the distinguished societies that use the media to promote its activities and programs.
