Majid Society for Development and Social Services was founded in Jeddah in the year 1421H, and its services are restricted to Jeddah Region. The number of beneficiaries of the society has reached 1,484 beneficiaries. The society's areas of activity cover: Training and rehabilitation, youth, women and financing of small projects.

  • The society is distinguished for launching programs that have a significant impact on the targeted groups which reflect the economic sustainability, empowerment and other positive impact indicators. Strong methodologies have been adopted to ensure the continuity of influence, most important of which is the transfer of knowledge and cooperation with similar institutions. The society paid a great attention to human resources despite the small size of the organization. This was clearly evident as an independent department was established to focus on the development of staff, the organization's most valuable resources. In addition, the society pursued a developed and innovative way for the distribution of its programs, which resulted in recording positive changes in its business as seen from the figures received from the beneficiaries of the organization's services. Furthermore, the society has adopted various ways and methodologies to increase the effectiveness of impact and has drawn up a clear strategy and innovative ideas for the development of financial resources, as well as for the development of its work as a whole within an organized and institutional framework.
