The Charity Society for Orphan Care in the Eastern Region (Benaa), provides care to the orphans in the Eastern Region by availing them and their families of comprehensive programs and services. The number of beneficiaries of the society services is 2,744 beneficiaries. The society’s fields of focus are orphans and widows. The society won the first place with a sum of SAR 500,000 based on its excellence in the modern management practices as well as its excellence in building the character of the orphan from the religious, social and educational sides through effective partnerships with government and private community institutions. It also contributes to the formulation of policies and regulations in order to ensure the rights of the orphan are preserved and providing proper conditions and environment for him to be a good and productive citizen of the society.
