Onaiza Society for Development and Human Services, based in Onaiza, focuses on the rehabilitation of people with special needs to enable them to integrate into the society and participate effectively therein, as well as on the rehabilitation of their families. The society has won the Golden Award of SAR 500,000 for its excellence in institutional teamwork at all its centers, and also for developing the "Tamkeen" social career program, which aims at enabling people with special needs to live in dignity, and for its leadership in the implementation of performance measurement mechanisms for the programs and activities that are provided to beneficiaries and their families.
