Grant to Prof. Abdullah bin Hussein Al Khalifa
Won by Dr. Abdullah bin Hussein Al Khalifa for his efforts in social sciences, demographic studies and quantitative social surveys, as well as for the contributions of his researches and writings and their close association with the reality of Saudi society. Among the studies carried out by Dr. Al Khalifa were: The impact of social factors on the population distribution in the neighborhoods of Riyadh city (field study), the social factors influencing the age difference between spouses, the impact of crime trends and original social and economic characteristics of migrant communities in their criminal behavior in the Saudi society (field study), the need to live in Saudi Arabia (13 parts by the number of regions of the Kingdom), and the social determinants for crime distribution in the neighborhoods of Riyadh.
